Hotel Yurimar

I had a 3 week stay in this hotel. Owners are wonderful and nice people. The main street pass near but at nighttime it’s ok for sleep. Thank you very much!

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel a lot! The location is very good, you get a private kitchen and some rooms have a fridge too, rooms are very clean and comfortable and the owner family is friendly and welcoming! Good value for the money!! And they have lots of mangoes and a pool!

This is my go to when I’m Puerto Escondido. It doesn’t look attractive from the street but the inside is very nice. There’s seating area, nice clean little pool and a rooftop resting area. The kitchen of the first floor is available to all guests but not well equipped and VERY dirty. A few time in my stayed I thought like:"ok, come on! Let’s check what I can do with it…” but just stepping in, all my plan to go grocery shopping felt apart The noise from the street can be annoying and it worse when you are at the last floor because your basically line up with the road. At the first floor, there’s less noise but no opening on the back of the room so no air flow possible. There’s a few "permanent" people that come every year and they rent years around the kitchens of the second and third floor to exclusives use when they are there and storage when they’re gone. I have mixes feeling about it. It was obviously set up to offer a communal kitchen on every floor and the setup of those long times renters give a little feel to be in their personal backyard. Beside that, the place is nice, constantly improving, cheap and the best location in Puerto. Access to the beach is down the road almost next to the hotel. You right between the famous surfing beach with mostly international tourists and the little down town fishing’s "village" where there’s plenty of typical Mexican restaurants and tourists boutiques with more local tourism.

The value for the price is very good. 20€ a night for a two double bed room is pretty much unbeatable for the location. Although it’s by the freeway the noise didn’t disturb us at all. The owners are also so so friendly and attentive!! The best thing was the terass. Super chill place with hammocks and lots of chairs and tables. Also outlets and wifi was good upstairs, nice place to work on your computer or just watch the sunset. It’s like a 3 minute walk to the beach. And about 8 minute walk to some really good restaurants and cafes further down playa zicatela. There’s also a small convenience store right by the reception which was very very convenient! The room is basic and a little bit worn down, but still it’s nice for the price. Comfy beds too. Initially booked one night but after seeing the room and terass we decided to book two more nights. I was afraid it would be too hot considering there’s no air conditioning but the ceiling fan in our room was super good and kept us nice and cool all night. There is also a laundry place called lavenderia Yurimar that was super good! Got a big tote bag of clothes washed in 5 hours for 50 pesos. Very convenient that its right by the hotel. Only negative thing was that the wifi was a bit spotty in our room. Very pleasantly surprised by Yurimar. Overall super good price and you get what you pay for. Would definitely stay here again.

We came here because we had a very bad experience with another accomodation. The receptionist is the sweetest angel, always smiling and so so helpful with everything. Although it is next to a main street, we were able to get a good night sleep. Thanks a lot!

Excellent service. Clean. Peaceful. Good location. The rooms are not fancy but then it's not expensive. I loved my 4 days here. My room had 2 double beds, a fridge, TV, ceiling fan and a private shower, toilet and basin. Mosquito netting on all the windows. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

We've stayed here for almost 3 weeks. We enjoyed the time a lot! The Room has the perfect size for us and is getting cleaned every day. Indeed it's getting hot in the room during the day and the Main street is really noisy but it's handable. The owner and all of the staff are amazing people! They helped us a lot with different questions and problems. We highly recommend it!
